I think the theories of Rey and Ren being sister/brother make for a much more interesting and conflicted storyline.

I also liked when Rey was teaching him how to shoot the turret on the Millenium Falcon. She said it was same as shooting a blaster but then commenced to telling him how to do it because it was a little more complicated than pulling a blaster trigger.
This is another point brought up in the Rey/Ren sibling theory. That Rey would intuitively know so much about the Falcon because she is Han Solo's daughter...
