I think both are great games and also completely different.

I'll admit this, I was wrong about Star Wars, at least the premium and LE. I knocked the game a lot early on. I still think more features could have been added
across all models but Stern did knock it out of the park in terms of getting the licensing right and that's extremely important considering today's NIB prices. To get access to all of the original trilogy's video assets, actor audio (especially the main actors) and even some licensed music tracks is impressive (most impressive? lol). The pro version of the game feels a bit barren but the premium version really surprised me. The hyperloop toy is really cool as is the Death Star toy considering its limited use makes it have more of an impact when you actually see it in action. The "use the force" ball save is also a nice feature and falcon model that lights up is a nice touch.

What helped change my mind about Star Wars and led me to buying a HUO LE is the code development and the ruleset design. The code has come a long way since launch, has become very deep and there's multiple ways to now approach the game. The ability to turn off mode stacking and enjoy each mode by themselves is a nice option as well. I think Lord of the Rings has one of the best rulesets of all time thanks to it having multiple objective based goals being spread throughout the game. Not many many games have successfully pulled that off since then but I think Star Wars does very well. Overall excellent game that only continues to get better with each code release.
