Ever notice how hot the Star Wars SPIKE-2 cpu node 0 heatsink is after the Star Wars pinball game been running (at least 30 minutes). It gets quite hot! A high temperature on cpu node 0 could affect performance on the game or worse yet, cause a failure or fault.

Question is: Is there an aftermarket Star Wars SPIKE-2 cpu node 0 heatsink fan available for purchase? Where could the fan get its power?

You can tap into power from the BB - there is 12v up there.

I made a (3d printed) mount with 12v fan before and I am not entirely sure there is a difference other than decreased temperatures over the heatsink (the game locked due to early code and probably memory leak). Longevity or added protection? Maybe? I don't think the CPU is the main source of failure.
