Stern, 2017I am getting lost in the announcement thread and club thread. There is so much Star Wars and I know some have posted some great ideas for model ships and toppers which could likely be great mods for the game. Thought to start this thread exclusively for mods and topper ideas. Whether built for sale or ideas from Walmart or EBay can we please post them here in one place? Thanks
Nothing fancy but I did find this hot wheels set on eBay. Likely too small though?
Waiting to get my game before doing any mods. We will have some lighting mods, but not sure on playfield mods yet.
There a such a rich universe of high end Star Wars things to draw from. My suggestion to everyone is skip the cheap Hot Wheels stuff and go directly with the high end stuff from companies like Gentle Giants. I was in Orlando at Hollywood Studios today and in the Star Wars area they have a great set of these materials on display. Would be well worth it. Check out some of the sculptures here:

There is also an amazing Imperial Probe Droid that would be awesome as a Premium topper.

I love these Master Replica lightsabers for a simple and cool looking topper. The master replicas and Black series are high quality with metal hilts. Much more money but they come with stands (obi wan photo below)... the extreme FX are plastic hilts but still LED. (No stand though) Much cheaper and will only stick over the edge of pinball head by 4 inches or so... the metal ones will stick over by 10 inches. I got me an Obi Wan (extreme FX) on eBay for $60. Score!!
No doubt Star Wars will be the most modded game to date. I think Stern realized this which is why they went in the direction they did and left many of the toys they could have out on off the game.
5 led blue behind left ramp, sticker gone from small LCD, blue lights replaced white on back board and front right shooter lane area, spot lights removed and replaced with single LED cool white which lights up the game but not over powering and allows the dynamic lighting in this game to really shine. BackBox light at 25%. Looking forward to seeing the first round of mods from Mezel and others.
There is a mod thread already...keep this one to just toppers or merge the two threads. Mezel also has their own thread.

Agreed. That looks awful for multiple reasons, but the biggest problem is that's clearly a clone wars stormtrooper, and this game is based on the original trilogy. No respectable geek would put that on his/her game.
It just looks plain awful whether it is "correct" or "incorrect". Anything on a pin that resembles a McDonalds toy is out.... oh never mind that I own Shrek!

So there is no information on the Stern R2D2 projector topper? Why do they keep things such a secret? Couldn't they let us know. If it's a cool concept it could stop us from buying a bunch or other topper stuff...
