I added a rod across my rail guide for support and to help with leveling them as they get welded.. another why did I not do this sooner moment! What a difference. I am keeping my one rail a day schedule.

You're going to dig these, I got mine yesterday and what a game-changer!

And just like that, the Pro is the better game all of a sudden. No shitty upper PF, no oh so unnecessary magnet and no effing "impossible shot" down scoop.

Quoted from dri:

1. I don't necessarily agree with you on the upper playfield, though I don't think the Pro's version is necessarily bad, either.
2. No disagreement there.
3. This I don't agree with *at all*. What do you mean by calling it an impossible shot? I was able to hit that thing quite easily and actually prefer when the down scoop is present to it being up.

Quoted from boagman:

On my game we talk millimeter precision to have the ball make it all the way around. I did manage to complete this shot three times at one time (https://www.instagram.com/p/CSgTB6EFWou/) but it leaves zero margin for error. Being able to backhand the horseshoe is just so much more convenient in clutch. It's nothing but a play better situation here though. I'm doing some tweaks to pitch and flipper power next time I'm playing to see if I can get it right.

Now shipping in the 30’s...

A co worker has a friend that deals with stainless steel in his job and said there is a good chance of a supply shortage hitting me as it has already caused issues for his business aquiring it. As a result I bought enough rods (618 feet) to build all the remaining 51 sets yesterday. Picking that order up tomorrow so were covered.. I will always make atleast one rail a day monday to friday and 3 sets on weekends until were caught up. Please hang in there with me. My goal is shipping out 3 to 5 sets a week. And that takes 12 to 20 hours of my time per week.

But, you know...when you whip it, whip it *good*. Whip it into shape. Shape it up. Get straight. Go forward. Move ahead. Try to detect it. It's not too late!

And in the category of "People Who Hear The Lyrics Completely And Utterly Wrong When They're Young And Stupid", I win, because *NO ONE ELSE* ever, in their lives, thought that "Try to detect it" was "Tattoo Detective". I'm the first and only. That's right: I'm right up there with the person who thought that Jimi Hendrix was saying, "Excuse me, while I kiss this guy" instead of "Excuse me while I kiss the sky".

You're welcome, ya filthy animals.

I am exploring the idea of making sets for other machines once I am done here.
Are there any other machines out there that would be popular enough to make wireforms for that would be worth while?

I am not done with the jjp gnr standard game I just picked up, but I did get rid of the ugly catwalk forms and got the mech to work on the right side rail on these rough sets. This is a project for my game. Any thoughts or input would be great. Nothing will come close to Mandalorians demands, I am just looking for something that could do 10 sets or more.

Pondering machine ideas:
Xmen pro
Star trek pro

I dig it. Totally understand why they did catwalk rails from a theme standpoint, but they're thick & ugly. Much less visual clutter with traditional rails.

I have a Star Trek pro and I would purchase a set of ramps from you. Not sure how much of a demand there be but it’s a popular game. And over time they haze over. I’d imagine if you made 10 and sold them for $300 each you’d sell all of them no problem.

I’d be interested in Star Trek pro ramps. You could also consider gotg… pro/premium are the same so wider audience and wireforms would be cool on that game.

Star trek seems like a good choice. I have the Le so I would need to buy a pro again. Gotg also looks very doable. Thanks for the input.
I have a few people asking me about my gnr snake ramps now. Alot of labor on these not sure yet. What ever I do next sales wise will be after mandalorian run is up. But, I really dig the gnr machine and where I am heading with it..

Okay that looks kind of crazy. I want to see how that’s gonna work!

The ramp is so damn wide I was able to make it have 2 shots. It works on the machine. The only way to get to snake head rail is left flipper as soon as ball clears sling. And the jjp flipper does have enough power to make the loop.

#378 2 years ago

I took a creative break yesterday on mando forms. Back at it today..,

On game video of 2 shot ramp in action. Needs tweaks, but you can see potential.

And heres last picture of gnr stuff here. I love the snake!

GNR is the way to go IMO. Very high # of machines made and the finish quality on the JJP ramps is horrendous. New buyers are also more likely to be focused on modding.

#381 2 years ago

I have been waiting for a few replies from a few interested people on the list. Some over a week now. Going forward if you do not reply within a week of a email saying your set is ready I am going to the next person on the list. You can still get ramps, but you will be bumped down and added to another run of wireforms. I should be shipping in the 40’s by next week. I just banged out a few more.

I would like to buy a set for Mando pro.

#384 2 years ago

If you can make the one for bk2k that would be great. Its the one feeding the upper pf to the lower.. That wire ramp is impossible to find, and I know there are bk2k owners that would snatch it up quickly

Me gad man! Thats a score! I have yet to play the game properly. I have ramp divertor disabled and all I do is ramp shots to test the sets, but if you need a shoot the ramp guy for this game I am your man.

Awesome!! I’m just happy to be here so whenever it happens it happens! Thank you!

I am open to making wireforms for other machines after Mandalorian. I saw gotg when I looked at the top 100 games for other machines and agree it looks very doable. If I can get 10 people on a interested list I would try and buy a machine to make them. I had Tron twice. That is a machine I wish I made wireforms for. I think that would have looked amazing. .

Up to 88 orders??? Talk about confirmation that you had a great idea. Good stuff

Tron is difficult because ramps are a single unit on Tron. Not like GOTG where the returns are separate.

If you ever get to Stranger Things (has a similar solution as GOTG), please sign me up.

My hands are shot. Stoned, polished and playtested these 4. All being shipped out tomorrow.

They need to be treated by a person familiar with stainless steel properties. Short answer is yes, but ask questions to whomever your considering to have them done. The rods are 303 stainless steel. Share that with the painter and see what they say.

I’d love to purchase a pair as well if there is still room on the list! I’m pretty new here but excited as The Mandalorian is my first NIB.

I am not on facebook, but my friend is and he sent me this comment about my welds left on Tommys posts. I decided to destroy a rail to prove a point. What is going to be harder on my rails? A small steel ball or this metal post? You decide. I consider this a successfull stress test, but thats me!

They're talking about Stern's factory welds on the ramp diverter, not yours. That poor rail died for naught.

#400 2 years ago

At least I know my “Logan ramps” are good to go!!!! As an FYI I was in the teens on the list and have had the ramps for weeks. Very nice change from the plastic and helps immensely for visibility. I think there was only one time a ball flew of the rails….99.5% stick rate. Great flow.
