Quoted from Pinballbuyer:

Advance to youngling. Really? Video is good to see, but it still looks like a Sega game. I would have to play it to be fair, I just have no interest and I am a Star Wars fan. Sad.

I'm right there with ya

Huge fan of Star Wars

Huge fan of Stern Pinball

Huge fan of... not this title

If you would have told me a year ago I'd buy Aerosmith over Star Wars I'd have laughed.

What fails to excite me about Star Wars?

I think the art looks very Sega & the interactive toy count (0) is unimpressive.

Have I played it?

No.

I haven't eaten Rocky Mountain oysters nor have I played any version of Stern's "The Pin" either.

Why?

Because nutsacks & "The Pin" look sorta shitty.

I feel betrayed by this game... like when E1 introduced Jar Jar.

Stern really is my favorite. I'm sure my next game will be a Stern. Not SW tho of course.

Quoted from libtech:

Speaking of "the pin" anyone notice how sw is almost the exact (reverse) layout of the "spiderman the pin" except spiderman has better art lol?

Finally, someone gets it.

This game looks like some generic Star Wars art was overlayed atop one of Stern's most skeet ass playfields ever.

Aaaaaand they raised prices lol

This game feels like the Avengers release all over again. What are the stages? Denial, anger, acceptance & FS ad?

Quoted from smassa:

Have you played it?

I have not played SW

I not eaten a tofu based veggie hamburger patty

There is a reason for this

Quoted from PW79:

Have I played it? No.

Quoted from beelzeboob:

There's a lot of things I haven't done either. But it's probably just because I'm close minded or just plain ignorant about those things.

Who is more ignorant & closed minded?

The guy defending his $8K game he's yet to play to anyone who says "pass"

Or

A guy who says he doesnt like toyless games with genaric art & says "pass"

?

I dont have to listen to an entire Celine Dion CD just to earn the right to say "I'm not interested buying her music"

Looking back in this thread it almost seems like I'm talking about a pinball machine while some defensive SW owners are talking about me.

Weird

Guys I'm bored.

Can we argue some more?

My son will be born in a few weeks. I shit you not as long as everything goes well that day I'm ordering a NIB pin the second my wife isnt looking.

I thought SW would be the one. But I just can't censor my disappointment when I'm in NIB buying mode & unhappy with the way my dream theme was handled.

Sorry. Didnt mean to urinate on anyones parade.

FLpinball congrats on the NIB. I bet you're having a blast.

Incredible Technologies, the makers of slot machines & of course Golden Tee, know exactly how to engage w/their customers.

I had a problem, posted it in an *non IT/GT moderated* FB group & unexpectedly received a phone call from the director of Technical Service. He was calling to resolve my issue & his words "to restore your faith in IT/GT".

My experience is not a one off. Everyone I've spoken to in the GT hobby world praises IT/GT.

IT knows the home market is valuable to them & they take care of their customers.

What defines a company is how they resolve issues. It took IT a few tries to nail down the issue but they were purdy damn good.

I dont have cable/satellite so no commericals

I listen to Spotify, not the radio, so no commercials

I use an app to check my email so no banner ads

I have a legit theater in my basement so I never go to a public theater. I piss away my 120" on documentaries about space, food & travel. Every once in a while we watch a movie but its via digital copy because I am too lazy to grab the disc so no previews lol.

I seriously didnt know about GOTG until a few days ago & it was all thanks to Pinside

This is for real. IDGAF about much of anything other than food, Golden Tee, my kids & pinball.

I dont even watch sports, gasp!

My point is maybe Odin is serious. Prolly not but maybe.

Quoted from o-din:

That would make you just another ignorant bastard! You are supposed to know everything about every rumored "dream" theme on this website or don't bother to show your face around here Curly.

I often find out about movies via licensed art on a paper Burger King cup lol.
