I don't mean to sound so down on the "franchise" (like a Burger King). They're enjoyable... you know what you'll get before you even sit down but... well that's about it.
But I know yer a car guy so that would explain your hard on for the series 
Nothing wrong with that. Stern could certainly
try their hand at not mucking up this theme as well as any.
