Still in. Honestly nothing would make me get out though, so I'm probably not a good indicator on how people feel. I liked the stream and feel like it will be a good fit with my only other pin at the moment - GB premium.

I just cancelled my LE order. l got into pinball about 5 years ago hoping/waiting for this theme to be released by Stern, so this decision was really a tough one for me to make... Had you asked me a month ago, I was in 100% no matter what the game looked like in person. Then after playing a pro, I did still like it but it got me thinking about what it is that really makes the $3,200 additional worth it for an LE. Even at that point I was still 50-75% in. After the Dead Flip stream though, I was down to about 25% in. I took a few weeks to let it all sink in and then made the call.
Here are my main reasons:
- the mechanical failures of the hyper loop (balls stopped spinning more often than not and simply plopped out the bottom) and the Death Star toy was not exciting at all. Not sure a working light makes it that much better.
- future code updates don't bother me but mechanical failures do. I don't want the hassle of trying to ship and install parts that need to be fixed.
- I am unlikely to ever get to blow up the Death Star anyway since I'm a bad player. Lol. The pros on the DF stream even struggled. That's the only interactive toy and I'll never see it in action.
- ghosting is the new normal. Sorry but not for an $8,400 luxury toy. If you are unlucky enough to have a table with ghosting then good luck selling it for less than a $1,000 hit on your asking price for something you can't control. If I keep my games in mint condition, then they should stay mint from top to bottom.
- the game looks fun but I just don't see the $3,200 value in an LE over a pro. I don't care for the look of the pro so that one is a no go for me. Someday down the road I may consider a premium if the game code is amazing and the mechanical issues are resolved or are a non-issue.
It's a bummer too as this was a dream theme from a company I really like.
