Quoted from RobKnapp:

In am still on the fence about buying a STERN SW Premium/LE as these issue concern my greatly . That is why I think the Pro may better suite my 'OCD' brain . But the collector mentality I have hade for years in me saying buy the LE .
I just want the best game play experience as far as fun.
Could you post some pictures of the metal wireform you are bending please ? and what are you using to bend the metal wireform with . Thank you .

I have had the modify quite a few pinball machine in my day . I never considered it fun . More like a pain in the ass . I have always thought more time should be taken in beta testing . But to each there own I suppose.

I am in the same boat. Looking to pick up a premium in the next 5 days. After reading a lot of this thread I'm not sure I want to mess with this stuff on a brand new EXPENSIVE game.

I'm no stranger to fixing modifying and getting creative to fix games but this just blows my mind.

No adjustments needed here. Please don’t think that every game will need something. Most don’t.

Played one on route and noticed some of these issues before reading this thread.

Buy and hope mine won't be a bad one I guess?
Dam I love the theme and the play compliments it perfectly. I hope things get ironed out!

I made the jump today and........I'm extremely happy I did. I haven't had any problems with the fork ramp or hyperloop (fingers crossed). I need to do a code update but I just couldn't quit playing tonight. game is very addictive. Plus my ball times are like 30 seconds. My game count on this thing is going to be ridiculous by the end of the weekend (somebody is going to think I had this on route).
I am glad that I went premium. Love the metal ramps and hyperloop. The right kick out does shoot for a drain. If I do nothing with the flippers it bounces and gives me a shot to keep it in play.

I did not get to a video mode tonight, I thought that was odd. Maybe code??
Also, whats up with knocking down the FORCE targets 5 times? Does it light Duel? Nothing happened for me. I was kinda looking forward to seeing what that did.

I was in the same spot and 2 days ago.
I went Premium. Updated code this morning. AMAZIMG! Hyperloop is well worth it. The fact it's so hard to hit makes it that much more satisfying to me. Think pro is very fun and definitely a great bang for your buck, but hyper loop and all that metal makes this game really pop........plus I just destroyed the death star 15 min ago and that just validated my Decision! As simple and "cheap" as people say the mechanics of that toy is........when you blow it up it's deeply satisfying seeing that thing crack open and light up! Felt like I got something done this weekend! Lol

Get it!

Sounds to me like you have old code update to 1.0 if you like it now your gonna LOVE it on the new code !!

Updated!

WOW! You are right.

Why isn't Chewbacca on this game????

This might be a crazy question but should I keep my old code and not update to 1.01? I am having a blast on the previous version.
After reading some of the comments, I feel like the improvements are not really much of an improvement and I DON'T want a slow hyperloop.

Any thoughts?

Thank you

If you’re having fun...why update?

I agree. I'm all about adding more fun if I can. Sounds like the updates are not very exciting. Is it true that the hyperloop gets slower?

#504 6 years ago
Quoted from kermit24:

No. The code doesn’t make any changes to the hyperloop. There are some bugs fixes. One huge one where you won’t lose your ball if the game fails to stop the ball during mission select.

Actually, mine holds the ball during mission select. I was hoping for addition multiball code......like gardians just came out with

Quoted from pinballaddicted:

It is an extremely frustrating game. Check your playfield angle. It really needs to be 6.5 degrees. This will help you backhand the deathstar shot, and could also solve your left drain issues. The correct playfield angle really makes that much difference on this game. We have had our LE for 7 months and only managed to destroy the death star 3 times using Battle above Endor to do it. A fellow pinsider posted how to.
If you have a few different games in your collection, SW is fantastic. It is extremely frustrating to the point where you have to change your tactics or get rid of the machine. I play Han and concentrate on getting the hyperloop hurry up (hyperloop multiball) picking up whatever I can on the way. Concentrate on safe shots and build from there. The beauty of SW is there are plenty of different ways to play the machine. We love ours but I get that frustrated with the game, I leave it and play a different machine.
Good Luck!

This game has made me a lot better player on other games, especially in my collection. It's hard to explain but it's so fast and hard other games feel a lot easier and slows them down for me. Definitely has made me a better shooter (hitting shots).

It is a left outlane monster.

I put a rubber blocking off the left outlane and it still drains left.....

Yep
