Quoted from rotordave:Mannnnn ... Danni and I went and played SWpro on location on Monday. It was fresh out of the box and it kicked our asses.
The mystery scoop fired SDTM 8/10. At 200mph. You had to sort of time your wild flips to save it. No ball save on the scoop at all. Heaps of side to side action made it very hard to control. If it was made steeper I think it would be easier to play. The bubble level was in the middle but the back legs were set pretty low.
The Operator has his games with a very tight tilt, so we were tilting a lot trying to save the numerous speed drains down the sides.
Lots of other pinball guys had been playing it over the weekend, the scoring had been so low only one name was on the factory high score list. We were getting 200m and getting replays, so that proves how tough it had been for everyone.
From some of the pics on Facebook, I was expecting to get billlllions of points. I had a best of 450m and Danni had 420m. The lst game I had, I hardly touched the ball ... drain, drain, drain. Like a PAPA A game. Haha!
No doubt it will calm down with age ...
Some games are just brutal out of the box. I remember my Transformers was unplayable for about a month when it was new, it was crazy.
