I want to be impressed but am not. The video quality wasn't great.
I Want to see what the laser does. I want to see the ship go down. I want to see multiballs.
I want, I want, I want.

Quoted from sammiesguys:

There are some people that already have their mind made up about the game, both good and bad. No matter what they see now, it won't matter. There was another game that came out recently that stands out in my mind as having the exact same thing happen.

Which one? Avengers

Need more video!

Quoted from Chambahz:

Not sure about the rest of you guys, but I am luke warm on the video.
(Very greatful that it was posted, thank-you!)
I expect this was not a great game for display purposes. SR spent time improving upon the flow of the SM layout. To see this game in a fair light, we need to see some ramps nailed.
Even on ACDC Premium, I can have a great ball, then the next one is nothing but bricks.
If I posted a video of that, it would be less than flattering as well.
Personally, I wish they had used actual movie quotes (could be wrong, but I don't think they did).
I don't care much for the actual digitized movie clips though, and prefer custom dots, so am happy about that.
Still waiting to see the Premium/LE LEDs, and the Vengeance all fired-up!

We need K.Elwin or B.Kerins to demonstrate this game.

Quoted from Rick432:

I actually kinda AGREE with the spirit of what you're saying (though it's a little rough around the edges): that people are offering too much opinion on too little information.
But whose fault is it that there is such little information on an expensive purchase that, at least for an LE, involves significant time pressures to make a RAPID, UNINFORMED decision onto the consumer?
It ain't pinside's, RGP, Facebook, nor the consumers' faults...

Stern hasn't really shown anything but some pics of the playfield.
The videos of a flipper and someone throwing a ball is leaving a bad taste in my mouth. If this is suppose to be a great pin it's time to show everyone why.

I must be the only one who likes the jackpot call outs.

Quoted from iceman44:

Is there a consensus on the laser projector? Apron? Has to be right? Fire button and shooting ship.

I have the same thoughts in my mine. We don't know.

Quoted from DCfoodfreak:

Juts remember with those new lights in the cabinet for the side rails you cant do mirror blades.
I wont see the lights and rails on the outside so its a choice between red blinking lights on the inside or mirror blades and I prefer the later.
Gonna go pro and bling it as I like. I really like my Met Pro and the price I paid. I have a feeling if I keep buying Pros I wont be so wound up as its a good bang for the buck.

You may be able to use mirror blades. We have seen pics of the lights on the side and without it. I have a feeling Stern won't cut into the inside of the cab. We will see.

I'd say "no", but PDI glass may compliment it nicely!

Or Invisiglass

Things we haven't seen that I am fing curious about:
1. Magnetic Ball Lock behind drop target holds multiple balls
2. USS Vengeance Disintegrator Super Speed Ball Kicker protects ship and fires balls
3. Phaser and Photon Torpedo Feature Controlled by Top Mounted Fire Button.

#223 10 years ago
Quoted from RobT:

That will be interesting to see what happens. That one picture of the LE clearly shows that light strip being visible inside the cabinet. Makes zero sense that they would display it that way if they are not going to be visible inside the cabinet.
Believe me, I won't be shocked if they aren't though.

It really looks like the there is a red tube photo shopped in that picture. I don't know of course, just spectulating.

Quoted from PappyBoyington:

I plan on having my mirror blades cut out for the side lights.

There ya go! It's PB&j time.

As long as games are selling out Stern won't go LCD. My guess they won't put one out for 3-5 years.
