    So, I've just updated to the 06/2018 software from Stern, and my Vengeance has gone crazy it seems. Right now, when I try to add new games using the Green button inside the Coin Door, the readout says" Free Play, press Start. And when I do technician check, it shows: Device malfunction Auto Plunger. I haven't used this machine much in the last year, but it seemed to be fine before the update. Has anyone else had update problems? I'm going to check to see if I can rollback first.

    Any thoughts? Would really appreciate it. Thanks.

    Was it doing this before the update ? Did you put the right version update in. Pro, Premium, LE ? Do you have it on Free Play - does it start a game when you push the start button ? Does the Auto Plunger work in Test ?

    The Vengeance mech is different in the pro. I would check to make sure you installed the right code(Pro vs Prem). Hopefully it’s that easy.

    STLE 0162 Premium was the version. I really didn't see this in the last few days before the update... v1.62 from June 5th. I'm virtually sure it's the right update..

    It seems to be stuck in FREE PLAY? I went through the menus to try to change that, but I didn't see anything? I could have missed it. But d@mn, I'm sure I didn't set that... I'll try the Auto Plunger test now. The game starts ok but it's real slow changing modes with the left flipper..
