The other problem is possibly the mod added just enough weight to not bring the ship back up. Mine sometimes didn't come up either after the mod, but when the ball went into the bumpers the vibration would slowly bring it back up. If that's the issue, my solution was to remove the springs from either side of the ship and clip off a couple of coils to tighten it up. After I did this, it comes up perfectly every time.
The spring tip is what I need. That is the exact issue I am experiencing. Thanks, Mike
