Quoted from gmkalos:Someone out there needs a freshly tumbled complete hardware kit for a TNG, wireform ramps to chrome, flipper mechs and stuff its still got some good value for sure!
You can do an exchange for the gun handle and wireform ramps:

I'm a little concerned about his gun handle as this is a part that should never go bad ... but his is melty

I'm really struggling to find the gun handle. No one seems to have this even listed let alone in stock.

I usually see one pop up on ebay every once in a great while for a crazy sum. You're going to have to hunt around for that part, unfortunately.
I'd suggest putting up a WTB ad; you might get lucky.
Heh, the gun handle should be the LAST part to order. Why waste the $$ on one now when there's so much other work to do?

The only one I've seen listed is at Bay Are Amusements ... of curse it's not in stock

I really hope you are able to find this part and wish you the best of luck in bringing this beast back to life!
Quoted from Wiggy:I still believe! You can do it!
Me too. I have a lot of STTNG spare parts including gun handle, translite, speaker panel, complete cannon assemblies, beta ramp with shuttle and lots of plastics (including Borg ship). I also have a spare playfield, but I am not sure if I am ready to part with it yet. Please let me know if you need some stuff.
I think I have a complete STNG under playfield wires and many more other parts as well. I am negotiating with one guy regarding buying his non working and some parts missing STNG so at the moment I am not in hurry to sell anything. But you can let me know as well and keep in touch if I am going to decide sell somethning in the future.

Yeah, bit of a letdown.
This is a HUGE project guys, give him some slack. This is gonna take him quite some time, maybe years.
I heard that he watched the JJ Abrahms Star Trek movies and liked them so much that he bought a Stern Star Trek Pro.

That is not me although I am well aware of this place!
Sorry I didn’t see this post earlier, you’re not still in paphos are you?
Announcement: this project has been cancelled because it would have actually cost much more than buying one. I removed all parts and sold the playfield for 300 euro.
At least I have all the mechs, coils, switches and cabinet parts as spares.
Quoted from gmkalos:PM me if you want a shuttle I'd gladly donate it to you strictly out of pity from one 1/4" wrench slinging tec to another lol
Thanks for your kind offer, it’s great to see ppl like you in the community but it is no longer required, the project was too big and too costly to dedicate so much time to.
Someone came to their senses on Pinside. I'm shocked, tbh.
Good move; maybe we should mark this thread as resolved, OP?
Live and learn. I did something similar with a water logged Space Station. Took a little loss, saved what I could and moved on.

Smart move! Although since you paid €600 for the thing, the mechs and cabinet parts were worth the remaining €300...
