    Hello everyone,

I have exactly the same problem as the one on this thread :

    https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/please-help-stnng-gnd-short-row-1-is-stuck-closed-problems

However I can't find any blown fuses, I checked them all with a multimeter buzzer and they all show continuity. I put new batteries in as they were nearly flat but all that did was set the machines factory settings but it still pushed out 3 balls.

The problem arose yesterday when my young grandson (aged 9) ask to play it, as I bent down to switch it on underneath I didn't realise he was pressing the gun trigger repeatedly. it then pushed three balls out and showed the same error message as on the link above.

My backbox is different to the one on the link as it has ribbons everywhere

    Cap'n,

Your son pressing the trigger while powering on did not cause the issue.
This error is typically caused by damage to the MPU switch matrix chips.
Has any work been done to the game recently?

    hello again,

Apologies for this but I've no idea how I didn't see the responses to my post, but covid put everything on hold here in UK and fixing the pin was not high priority.

So now I decided to try and fix this machine if I can, there has been no work done on the machine recently and it has new batteries fitted.

I have all the problems mentioned in the link at the first post so three balls pop up, canon starts turning, coin door setting buttons don't work, message says Gnd Short Row 1 is stuck closed etc. all except no fuse is blown
