Is it the one that feeds the ball to the gun or to the wireform? The one that feeds the wireform is the "Left Popper" and the one that feeds the gun is the left gun popper. Associated driver tranisistors on the Power Driver Board are listed in this table.

I'm trying to avoid removing the driver board to test the transistors because I cannot easily get to the transistor to test it in game.

It really doesn't prove much of anything unfortunately but you should be able to test for a shorted transistor with the board installed pretty easily, just test resistance to ground from the large tab of the transistor. If it's not the main driver transistor it's almost certainly the pre-driver.
