Whenever I flip the flippers or the Vengeance shakes on my Star Trek table, the pop bumper to the upper right will always activate, regardless of whether or not the ball is in the bumper area. This would be fine if it didn't make the missions super easy to score points in. Is there any way to fix this?

Quoted from TomGWI:

Probably the switch is closing and needs an adjustment. Turn game off, adjust the switch slightly so it is more open, turn back on and test. When the wafer around the pop goes down it should activate the pop bumper.

I'm sorry, but I'm a complete noob at pinball tech and don't know what that means

Quoted from jfesler:

Remove the glass.
Remove the balls.
Lift the table.
Identify the pop bumper that is firing when it shouldn't.
Check it out visually. You'll learn a bit how a bumper works.
Pay particular attention to where a couple strips of metal come in close contact.
This is a leaf switch.
It may look something like this:

A better picture is the one on page B15 of your manual.
Don't have one? Download it. You can't own a pinball machine without a manual.
Not unless you like paying for service calls.

Check the spacing on this compared to the working bumpers.
You'll probably see the strips of metal are *very* close for the one bad bumper.
Slightly bend one. Slightly. Put just a bit more gap in. Not a huge amount.
Look at the working bumpers, for guidance on how much gap.
This is the ideal tool for doing bends on those strips of metal.

If you're really careful you might try another tool.
If you're going to own this machine for a while (or other pinball machines)
then it is time to start making the list of useful tools.
Most of the stuff is not hard once you try it.

Thanks for that! I'll be sure to try and fix it some time soon.
