Quoted from Rarehero:

So it pops up to the wireform that goes back to the lower flipper, like Spider-Man's Doc Ock VUK instead of shooting up the Warp ramp?

Yes the ball couldn't make the jump to Warp. Now go save the Enterprise!

Actually that looks really cool.

Quoted from markmon:

The news of the VuK is rather disappointing. But I guess its better than spending several software updates trying to get it right (ie: Metallica hammer).

Or worse getting the same fix in the mail 3 months later. Ahhh....the memories of TFLE drop target air balls.

Quoted from Pafasa:

VUK bashing the Vengeance? Sounds cool. I wonder if that could really happen. That would be quite an airball flying around there considering how high the toy is off the playfield. Would love to see it though. I too have wondered about the cutout in the front of the Vengeance.

Disclaimer: I am not a mechanical engineer.
I believe the cutout is to allow the ship to tip towards the playfield as it crashes.
Kirk out!

And how, pray tell, has AkumaZeto seen this?

That is the question of the moment.

Quoted from LesManley:

I know he rips on Stern...a lot...but he still manages to get the inside info. This is how he said he saw it...
"The ship looks like it moves forwards and backwards prob uses the bug mech from SST. Hard to tell from video as it was a stealth video with big mouth Jody flapping in the background."

There are people that like Stern, like JJP. And then there is Ben that just doesn't like anything at all.

Got the email Tom, shipping next week some time! Going right next to my Ac/dc which I love, can't wait! I'm hoping my wife and kids who don't believe its ever coming will join in on the fun.....

Congrats. You won't be disappointed.

Quoted from joegeno:

im thinking maybe stern should open a dialog w/ the pin community and people can send in ideas about what games should have on them as far as toys, modes, lay outs, ect. i mean here is a huge group of people excited about the next great licensed game is.
this needs to happen for success. lets put it this way;
1) stern has to make a profit, or why bother.
2) within there time frame of getting a game out and ready for market, they make the best w/ what they have at the time.
3) they produce/sell, we buy.
kill two birds with one stone stern..... open up a dialog with your buyers on what they're ideas, and wants are. instead of producing the same game over and over w/ different art/themes. let the buyers come up with creative ideas for no cost to you. wow!

The tables are usually designed a year before they are announced.
