At the end of it though I think ideally you would want to start the mode from the plunger lane, hit the warp ramp which lights everything for a 2X combo, pummel the left ramp, to right ramp, to left orbit all at 2X + 2X scoring.
On a side note, I did try the Space Jump alternate strategy and didn't find it very useful. The problem with it is that it has very few blinking shots (doublers), and that's the key to PD3.
