My Vengeance ship is hitting the glass and the area under the backbox. Is there an adjustment for this?

It is mounted to a platform connected to the base by one big spring, the ship is held to the platform by two post/screws. My back one broke off and allowed the ship to also rotate sideways. Might check it out. The spring is connected by a single screw on top and bottom, so if either was broken, the ship would fall off.
