put it in test mode and check all of your optos, especially the optos under the left gun where the ball should be loaded. If one is out, the game will think a ball is there and not send one over.

Quoted from Corvettelover:

It launches 3 balls into the subway. One goes to the right gun and two go to the left side where neither go to left gun. Then one is ejected into the drain

check the optos in the subway under the playfield. Take out the balls, put it in switch test, and manually test all the optos. You can use a little piece of paper and just block on side of each of them. You probably have one not working (usually the emitter burns out or you could have a wire off) or they are dirty.....in either case, the machine will not detect the ball and the 2nd diverter will never activate to send the ball to the left gun. Sounds like both balls going left are going to the left popper.

Or, you could also have an opto out in the left popper, so check it too.
