Incredible job my friend!

Lets know how you end up cutting the shooter groove.

A ball nose bit is the tool normally used.

Quoted from Zitt:

Let’s just say CorelDraw is absolute crap when it comes to outputting DXF files. When I bring it into FlowPath to generate the waterjet files... the parts have in-exact curves and broken lines.

Often you have to check the box that says "Save Curves As Lines"

This is great stuff, can't wait for the next update.

Quoted from Zitt:

What are peoples thoughts on using a modern flipper assembly vs the stock bally design for this machine?

I'd do modern.

Less money, better spring action, replacement parts are available and cheap.

I've been using WPC style on my system 3-7 rebuilds and the difference is night and day.

Quoted from Zitt:

Ok. Revisiting this topic as I need to do a Flipper order soon as clearcoat is curing.
I'm thinking about getting a left and right flipper assembly from Pinballlife
http://www.pinballlife.com/index.php?p=product&id=717
with a FL-11630 coil.

Thoughts? I'm not sure if these flippers are NO or NC contacts.
Looks like the original Bally flippers are NC. EOS opens the shorted high side coil.

11630 should have plenty of power for a no ramp game.

Send a note to Terry that you need High Voltage NC EOS switches in your kits.

Get this flipper kit with the better springs:

Well; the same HP Scanjet 4670 I used to scan the PF is not giving me a interference pattern on the scans.

You ARE getting a morie pattern from the scanner?

I got an answer from MCP today and they said the bit they use on playfields is a Vortex 8220.

Unlike those boutique pin manufacturers that you have to wait 3 years to play a game (and it's still not complete), you certainly look like you will have it done in time.

Keep up the good work.

Austin is a big town, no one locally can give Zit a few spoons?????

(also make sure your wafer pins are not damaged)

Don't you win a trip into outer space or something?

Don't you win a trip into outer space or something?

Quoted from Zitt:

That's the next contest they announced... or $186k. Not sure I'm gonna really try for that one. seems like it may be a little much on the prize perspective. I keep checking the calendar to see if it's April 1st when it comes to that contest.

It seems fitting that a ST themed hack earns a trip into space.

I'd start a new thread so you can be sure that EVERYONE skulls you up.

Quoted from Zitt:

I already feel like enough of an ash pimping the up vote here in the thread.

Sometimes you just have to throw civility to the wind and call in every last vote.

It's so close, you know the other guy is going to do it on some other geek thread or forum .....

Some of those are cool but maybe I'm missing something

Yeah, I did not get a lot of those choices either....

Quoted from Zitt:

I was actually surprised there were no "hell yeah, bring it to Chicago" comments. As a result; my desire to go has cooled rather significantly.

I misread you comment, I though you were implying that you were indeed bringing it to Chicago.

I'm sure it would be a hit of the show.
