To each their own, but I've owned both these machines...I found ST had great flow, nice apron, great side rails, and nice back box. So clearly (IMHO) STLE looks better. That being said I didn't really care for the game, toys, dmd display with so so animations, and especially not the cheap plastic ramps....ST on the other hand (even with its early code) is a superior game with great flow, great ramps, and in my opinion a much nicer play field...the game in general has much more going for it i.e. death star, hyper loop, incredible display with actual film footage, surprisingly great music, and the sound quality is far superior...I think the game will only get better as the rule set matures.....
Quoted from TheLaw:That's kind of where I am on this. If "getting your monies worth" from Stern is the bigger deal than I can totally agree with ST:LE winning this one; and there's nothing wrong with that.
I hear ya on the monies worth part, and agree to a certain point....that being said SW has better toys, is faster, and has much better graphics and sound. At least in my mind its a much more enjoyable game....excited to see how it plays once they fine tune the code
