Looks like the left asteroid is further down now, not parallel with the right asteroid.

I wonder if the lights in the apron (shields?) are going to be in the premium or not?

#34 10 years ago

Yup. Left asteroid is much further down now.

Any ideas about the laser starfield projector?

Doesn't look like the Vengeance is on a spring at all. The motor must handle all its movements on the Premium/LE.

Quoted from The_Dude_Abides:

I like the way they are going with the LE pimp the exterior out and limit a run. For Premium models include all the same stuff under the glass and I would be a happy camper.

Hopefully the Premium includes the new "Shield" lights in the apron. It's under the glass.....fingers crossed.

Quoted from John_I:

Nope I still hate LEDs installed in pins not designed for them. They flicker, strobe and ghost. The new Sterns and JJP machines were designed from the ground up for LEDs so they look great and have none of the side effects. I love the LEDs in my ACDC. I removed every single LED from a recently acquired IJ because they made the game unplayable. No changes here...

Not an issue with the right LED's. I saw an T2 will all LED's....no flicker, strobe, or ghost.

Quoted from frolic:

LE is the bomb. The lights were a big reason I wanted an LE(or premium) and the light show is delivered.
I never believed the laser thing was going to be anything other than lame, so if they cut it because it was, then so be it.

They didn't cut it. Ritchie confirmed it today.

Quoted from QuarterGrabber:

OK so here is the deal now. I was on the fence about my LE order, now after seeing the video and pics I'm sooooo in. However I heard a rumour that they have scrapped the laser starfield projector because it wasn't working out (this is why there is no info on it and no one saw it on the tour). They have replaced that feature with the lighted apron. If that rumour is true I'm definitely OUT for sure and will buy an AC/DC Premium instead.

Starfield projector is still there.

Quoted from RobT:

You can probably get it for that. Unfortunately, you just can't play it because they can't ship it to you.

How much do you think the Premium will go for? Ballpark?
