I would have thought that some of the second thoughts would settle with the "all hands on deck" coding surge. After the initial lukewarm reaction to the red playfield, lackluster toys and familiar layout and the disbelief (almost fury) at the price hike, then the revelation that the VUK was gone and the projector was delayed, they have really needed a win. The code shown during the Expo tourney and Bowen's tutorial has changed the conversation from being dissatisfied with what is there to looking at the game's potential, which appears to be where Metallica is for most people. It's still not a favorite, and I don't see how the projector could be a game changer, but at least this recent effort shows that they are somewhat responsive.
