Quoted from TimeBandit:

Doesn't the code black it out now?

Quoted from Pinzzz:

How does this differ from the new ST code?

curious also?

I think I'll be in, but could you clarify the price shipped to US?

How do you install (where)? Is it easy enough for a noob to install?

Mine has not arrived either

Mod just arrived today.

I don't really understand those instructions. Could you be more specific? Where does the board go? Do we use any existing wires or just the cable supplied?

I need a few more instructions since I don't even know where this is supposed to be mounted? Any pics or instructions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry for being dense, but what/how do I connect this at the laser area? What does it connect to?

Does anyone have any better pictures, I have no idea where this is supposed to attact to.

Also not sure where the board goes.

Quoted from frolic:

I really like it. I play in a dark basement, so "lights out" means LIGHTS OUT, but for 1 mode of the game, when contextually you are being attacked and in a war, it is a lot of fun to feel that confusion and chaos. I lose track of the balls as they are the top 1/2 of the playfield, they just sort of show up in front of my flippers and I'm flipping for my life. With blasts of LED effects, and occasional GI flashes. Lots of fun.

is there a way of playing with 66% dark vs total dark? Which do you prefer?

I have not installed mine yet.

Great mod!!!!!

Can not understand why the programmers did not make this an option or just standard GI during the mode. Really hard to fathom.

Quoted from Eryeal:

Love it - I got the green and combined with the blackout mod, looks awesome.

Thanks tying to decide green or red?

Looks like the lights are smaller more pinpoint but brighter?

Quoted from BobC:

I think I read you can just buy a laser on ebay for like $10

perhaps, but the Cointaker is plug and play. Not sure you can just throw a new laser in there and it'll work.
