I'm a little biased on the shirt coolness considering I helped with the design. When he gets the shirts in, I'll post pics of one. Are you coming?

Its looking more likely now.

#7 10 years ago

I hope to make it too, it will be my first.

#8 10 years ago

Squeezed D&G for a peak at the artwork to be used on the shirts. This is a rough draft of what will be on the back of the shirts. The front will carry something similar to the Star Trek insignia on the left front chest.

star-trek-shirt.jpgstar-trek-shirt.jpg

#9 10 years ago

Front is going to look like this. They are yellow gold, to mimic the captain's color uniform.

!!!stern.jpg!!!stern.jpg

#10 10 years ago

Shouldn't one of the shirts be red or something?

#11 10 years ago

I thought about red for the away team and the imminent death jokes, but the Metallica Launch Party shirt was red, so we went with the captain's yellow color. It would have been fun to give everyone who doesn't qualify for the top 16 a red shirt though.

Just wanted to say a *HUGE* THANK YOU to everyone who showed up tonight. The Metallica Launch Party had a record 43 players...because of all of you...The Star Trek Launch Party had a now record 46 players. Even more had to leave early and others showed up too late, it was over 50 at one time. That is AMAZING and the party was a big success! People like you who come out and support pinball on location it what it is all about and there wouldn't be launch party events like this without you. I hope everyone had a good time and thank you all again for making tonight the biggest launch party tournament Minnesota has ever had!

Also, a special thank you to D&G vending. They have been amazingly supportive of the pinball community. They go all out for these events; buying shirts, getting sponsors and additional pinball machines. There is so much work that goes into an event like this and they do it for literally no coin drop during the event as the games are on free play. I am sure I speak for everyone in attendance tonight when I say THANK YOU for all that you do. It is appreciated!

Thank you John & all the crew at D&G Amusement for your work on the launch parties. The shirts and prizes are a great addition to the event. You don't have to be good at pinball to have fun at these launch parties.

You can say that again Les. This was my first Launch Party and Tournament and I had a great time and came out a winner with a case of beer and 40th place. Did better then I thought. Star Trek is a beautiful game, sure would like to own one someday.

Sorry Paul, how do you spell it? I'll get it corrected. It was so loud in there, I couldn't hear myself think last night.

#31 10 years ago

2 people got shot there Sat. nite so good thing we had it on Fri. nite.

#33 10 years ago

Shoot I was trying to be undercover at the event! I had a fun night and made it a Pinball weekend up in the Cities. Did Pinball Circus on Saturday. I think people were surprised I came from the Madison WI area for pinball. I told them I had to show the love to the guys/gals that run these type of events. The Star Trek Tournament, I made the second round as the #16 seed! Thanks to everyone for putting on the event and the players that could make it! Had a blast!

#34 10 years ago

always good to see ya tmac....now don't forget about the 2014 Pinball BBQ.

I committed to it at the end of Pinball BBQ 2013! Just have to remind Tony!

#36 10 years ago

Man I wish we had something like this in Indiana. It's a desert wasteland when it comes to places you can go in the public to play pins and have launch parties. The only way we get something like this if a pinsider happens to buy the newest pin and has a party at their house. Looks like great fun and I LOVE those t-shirts. I would proudly wear it even though I couldn't attend the event. Good job!

Without D&G Amusements I don't think it would happen, they are totally behind the MN scene.
