Those aren’t drops from striker? They look like they could be? Not sure if striker has a bank like that.

Great work so far, you’ve gotten a lot done quickly! Following

Might have missed it but is the artist a friend or someone you found that does custom work?

Looking great! Only comment would be tliwerbthe speed if the ship that’s going back and forth if you can. Like 1/4 the speed, smooth back and forth.

Pricey! Cheaper to weld non stainless and then get it chromed at a shop? Should be couple hundred or so

    That looks awesome, solid work!

How thick is that sheet? If you pin it down at all it’s liable to lift .. not sure if you’ve seen that on other threads? Better to float it if you can

Look’n good! I mentioned the cuts on the protector only because I just went thru the exact same thing about a month or two ago.. cut a nice protector for the whitewood, tight holes for posts and such — only to realize the mistake after discussing with the pinball amigos. Went back and had to enlarge holes and cut parts of it out. Someone else recently went with the locked down protector and got lifting. Better to not take the chance.. floating works better than I would have originally thought. Glad to see you went that route.. excited to see this coming together!

Looks so good with the art on there - wish I was at that point .. one day

Yep, I’m just hitting year 3 somehow.. I guess if this was my sole focus I could have gone faster but it really is eye opening how long it can take to build a game.

    Quoted from Zitt:

What did I do wrong, only took me 1.5years?

Props to anyone that makes it thru and completes a homebrew.. be it 1yr or 10 1.5 years is awesome though- right up there on pace with the sonic spin ball build.

    #297 3 years ago

Hmmm I somehow never noticed the acronym STD,lol. Oh well..

Zitt i didn’t take your comment as elitist, it’s all good. Retheme, scratch build, 1yr,10yrs..it’s all just good pinball fun. Also side note I screwed up my order and actually needed 4 not 3 clear targets.. grrr.

I don’t quite understand how the 3 launch points work but that is awesome!!

    #328 3 years ago

Ok I see now - that is really cool! Love all the welding work, really looks sharp!

Haha I like that. Even more so if they were functional and replaced fusing

    How’s tna and/or discovery coming?

    #369 2 years ago

Nice looking wire form! I didn't realize you were also doing that for TNA, that will be interesting to see the finished product!

Really? Wow kinda surprised, he seemed to have a good thing going doing the custom wireforms
