The display on my machine reads out the version number, goes blank, puts up garbage or technical info intermixed with what it should be putting up... Also, the game intermittantly freezes.. holds onto the ball etc. I have to turn it off and on to get it back. The person who sold it to me says that this is caused by an older version display chip mismatching with a newer game chip. If that is the case though, it would have malfunctioned as soon as they added the new game chip... and they would have fixed it then.

any other ideas? Otherwise, this is a great game!

thx

Measure the 5v and 12v at the top of the power supply. At minimum, I think your 5v is low and needs C2 (100uf 25v electrolytic capacitor) changed on the power supply.
