I know it’s a long shot, but I’m looking for a blackout mod for my ST Premium. Preferably working, but I’ll take what I can get. Thanks.

I was able to find one thanks to a friendly Pinsider.
Also, I added Star Trek: The Next Generation to the collection yesterday.
Quoted from JohnnyRio:Thanks. I see two different links:

Did you load the prior?
I did the first one with the movie audio on my Vault Premium.
Quoted from D-Gottlieb:I am wondering what this is. It was in the coin box of my recently acquired HOU SWP. Aftermarket 3D printed something.

It looks like part of a shooter assembly.
Quoted from flashburn:I picked up a nice Star Trek Premium today. It came with a boat load of mods, including Blackout and Vengeance mods, and many others.
However when I was lifting the head up, I found this cable that fell out of the head:

It was too short to reach anything inside the cab unless the head was up.
So once I got the head up, I played a game on it and it seemed fine. But it still seems odd.
Here's a pic from inside the head:

The only thing I was thinking is it went to this little board:
https://photos.app.goo.gl/HgDUb4BVD5CFdU5H9
Except it's a 4 pin cable and that board has a 5 pin connector. I did notice that the pins were bent upward a bit on that one, and the one next to it. I straightened them before I took the pic.
So... any ideas?
That was my game, so feel free to reach out if you have any questions about what I did to it. I can also repair that Blackout mod if it dies.
Quoted from TigerLaw:Question:
I bought an LCD colorDMD for Star Trek (I’m still struggling to get the color working but that is another matter). When installed it’s not flush and there is a gap on the sides where you can see the innards and it looks bad. I’m considering putting weather strips along the side to hide the innards. Any thoughts or mods to cover it? I guess I should have gone with LED and not LCD but too late now.
Has anyone order a kit for their ST Premium? I'm considering the one below and want to make sure it isn't missing anything.
Quoted from mbwalker:Hi guys,
Just joined the club last night with a Stern Pro, but the pin has a minor issue. Tried to search the posts, but with thousands of postings, it is a bit overwhelming.
Seems like the pin has an issue determining when a player is done and when the next player is up. Cursory look at the switches (especially the trough) doesn't indicate any issues when manually triggering. Any insights someone can share? I'm a EE, so I will dig into the problem this weekend. Thought I'd check to if anyone else has experienced the same issue.
Thanks!
Trough is definitely the first place to look.
When you manually triggered the switches, did you use a ball or your finger? Try using a ball and see if they test fine in switch test.Check the diodes on each switch and look for broken solder joints. Your switches may need to be adjusted or you could have a transistor issue(uncommon).

Quoted from mbwalker:Thanks for the reply WT.
I used the ball clear in the menu. Seemed to spot the presence of all the balls, and in the correct sequence. But as I mentioned, it was a cursory look. Perhaps an intermittent? The pin hasn't been cleaned in ages (if ever), seriously dirty. First thing I'll do is clean the optos in the AM.
Any other areas I should be looking at?
This trough has both switches and optos, so check the solder connections on all the diodes for cracks, etc and test each diode. Luckily all the parts are cheap and the opto board set is available @ PBL.

Quoted from canoncitypb:Is there any place you can purchase cabinet decals for a Stern LE or Premium?
The option I'm aware of is through a dealer; They can order the parts from stern.
From pages P2 & P3 of the LE manual.(44 & 45 of PDF)
802-5001-E5 - Cabinet and Back-box Decal Set (Premium)
802-5001-E6 - Cabinet and Back-box Decal Set (LE)
Quoted from javagrind888:I just joined the club by getting an amazingly good deal on a garage find Stern Pro. Game is like new except for some switch and opto issues I'm going to work on soon.
Only other thing is that it is missing the back box side art. I'm interested in finding the originals or any alternates. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be appreciative.
Contact your local pinball distributor. They can order them direct from Stern.
Quoted from MANTO1975:Does anyone know who makes an awesome shooter rod for this game?
cheers
I put this on my Premium:
