Quoted from Kiwipinhead:The licence has expired! No more Stern Star Treks!
So did ST out sell AC/DC? I read that some where.
Any way.... warp factor 9.
Didn't know that...Must have got one of the last ones then. I hope mine does not have any playfield issues.
Quoted from gunstarhero:Please do TRON Legacy VE before more Star Treks tho, Stern.
Yes!!!
ST premium. The upper right flipper suddenly stopped working during gameplay. After checking all the connections, I noticed the fuse under the playfield for this flipper had blown. I replaced the fuse twice and they immediately blew each time when I turned on the game. Any help would be appreciated. 250V 3A
Quoted from spidey:Reflow the solder at the connector. That's what fixed it for me. I may have even added solder.
Why would that suddenly happen?
Quoted from newpinbin:Why would that suddenly happen?
Q12 was the issue. Blown transistor.
Quoted from bwalter:Just joined the club with our NIB Star Trek Vault Premium. We love it! Don't have a ColorDMD installed yet but we'll get to that soon enough. Great game... all hail Steve Ritchie.
Still looking for a more thorough ruleset out there than what's on http://tiltforums.com/t/star-trek-wiki/456 (ie. what are the launch skill shots, how exactly are "Punch It!"s earned & what exactly do they do in various modes, etc.) but it's still an excellent start.

Nice! What is the difference from the vault premium and the premium?
Quoted from bwalter:I actually talked to Stern about this via email, and they stated there was no difference in production between the Vault Premium and the original run.
I had reached out to Stern directly because their own website's page for Star Trek Vault Premium showed a different kick-out for the left side lock, in multiple images, and so I thought perhaps that was changed for the Vault edition. Turns out those photos were of a non-production unit and needed to be removed.
They're still there, now, however, and you can see them here:

(My Vault Premium was built in November 2018 and has the original vertical half-loop kick-out like all the production Premiums out there.)
Did they say why they are not using that style kick out shown in those photos?
Quoted from D-Gottlieb:Interesting on the warp ramp, but if the mode was not completed, why was the select mission hole lit? Thanks for the info on the standups.
zebra is right. It is on a timer and you have to start over again until it is completed.
Quoted from Spyderturbo007:Based on a picture I have from my tear down, it is definitely broken. It's also stuck in the forward position, so the coil might be smoked. If it locked on, it would melt the coil sleeve and bind the plunger.
These are the only two decent pictures I have of the assembly from my tear down.

How much time did it take to remove all those parts to reach the kicker?
Quoted from Spyderturbo007:Sorry for the late response. Unfortunately I can’t say. I was tearing down the entire topside and wasn’t specifically going after the mech.
How far along with it are you now?
Quoted from DaveH:It’s cleaning day! She’s getting a playfield protector and a good scrubbing. It’s not that dirty, but I’ve had the protector for over a year and never got around to installing it. I always enjoy the process of cleaning a game that is a few years old and just give it a tuneup.

Now that is a lot of work.
Quoted from Doctor6:Game was made March 2020. Vault edition bought in october.
New game and still issues. They should have sent you a populated one.
