Aurich, do you still have any translites and decals? I'm just ordering my Star Trek Pro and saw a picture of your beautiful artwork.

Quoted from bonanza:So I decided to make my own Star Trek Shooter rod and purchased these two items off Ebay
Limited 18k Gold Plated Star Trek Logo Metal Pin brooch prop badge communicator for $5 (75% off)
And
Star Trek UFP Starfleet Command Logo 1.25" Metal Pin- FREE S&H (STPI-SC01) for $12
Which one do you think would look better?
I have already flattened out the end of the black plastic on the rod and will cement one of them this weekend. Vote now!
That pin on the left looks exactly like the Marco Specialities shooter rod knob.
Spent the evening installing Cliffys on the new ST Pro. I've read posts saying that you have to take off the ramps on the left side to install the scoop protector. I managed to do it without removing the ramp. I Removed the screws along the left side of the pin, that gave me enough flex to work around the ramp. It was a pain in the neck, but it was possible to remove the shield plastic and scoop cover. The only problem is the screw holding the curved ball guide. None of my ratchets fit under the ramps and the angle was too much for a screwdriver. Took me awhile but I eventually figured out that I could get a socket onto the screw and then used an L shaped hex wrench to turn it. Managed to loosen it enough that I could install the scoop protector. Reverse the process and you're done.
So does anyone have any experience with a VIVAK [PET-G] Playfield Protector on their HUO Star Trek? Playfield protector vs clear coat? I've seen comments on the forum which raise concerns on how to keep my playfield in good shape. Right now all that's on it is carnuba wax and Cliffys (except the magnet protector, haven't gotten around to that one yet).
The spinner on my Pro has started acting up. It spins and then instead of returning into position it stops almost parallel to the playfield and subsequent balls can’t hit it. I see that there’s a screw to the right of the spinner to make adjustments but after an hour of trying it doesn’t seem to help. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Tina
I think I fixed it. The wire on the right hand side of the spinner bracket was slightly bent. You could only see it when the spinner was at a specific angle. I straightened it and it has started behaving again. Strange that such a little thing was enough to completely unbalance it.
