I should have my NIB Premium Vault delivered in the next day or two its at the trucking hub 30 min from my house now, but they are closed on Sundays. I have a few mods in mind, Green Laser Mod, probably cliffys, and whatever else I find in this thread.

#8138 4 years ago

Searched the thread with no success so here is my question of the day.

On my premium the VUK seems to be a bit weak when kicking the ball up into the left wire ramp.
The ball kind of hops up there and doesn't ride in the formed loop.
It always makes it into the ramp though.
I searched menus for a power adjustment and didn't find it.
Im hoping I missed it any advice? Game has 50 plays on it.

#8139 4 years ago

I found it "left eject power"
factory was 28 max 32 31 seems just right for mine.

#8141 4 years ago

Just requested a set of Cliffys for my premium.
Has anyone noted damaged to the left inlane from ball dropping out of ramp? Wondering if I should be proactive.
I would use one of the cliffy switch slot protectors but the ball looks to drop ahead of where the protector would be.

On my Vault Premium
When auto plunge or full plunge with left flipper held, the ball will center drain 50% of the time on it's way out of left orbit.
I've only played an original pro in the past and never noticed this. Is it normal and I'm just noticing it more since it's mine.

Quoted from J85M:

I’ve used these on Ironman as the targets lean on that game massively and these hold the targets straight.

Do you have any pictures of them installed. I'm having a hard time visualizing do they require new holes in under side of PF

there is a prizm diffuser that is threaded onto the end of laser. my diffuser is chrome and was friction fit into the nylon pulley. possibly this diffuser fell off or lens came out

#8161 4 years ago

I had to make a small wrap of tape around the prizm and press back into the pulley on mine.

Here is mine on Prem Vault

Quoted from OTRChief:

Thanks everyone for your help. It is a broken wire. I have to decide whether to splice a short wire between the broken ends or a longer wire from the break to the connector.[quoted image]

Speaking from my experience in the auto industry if one wire broke there, the others are probably not far behind.
If at all possible I would replace from a point where the harness doesn't move to another point where harness is anchored.

Panel is beautiful I'd go blue for color flow/continuity but that's me.

I do have my Premium Vault listed if anyone knows of a good home for it. I love the game but looking to change it up, and this one is too nice to loan out or lend to a pub.

Definitely a cool topper I would live to have that.

On my ST Prem Vault is there a way to turn down auto launch power? went through menus and manual and did t find anything. Did I miss it?

#8242 4 years ago

Looking for a ball recomendation for my Prem
Ocasionally I will get 2 stuck in the vengence and also have trough issues with them not rolling down.
Thinking the balls are getting magnetized
Only 250 plays on it.

#8244 4 years ago
Quoted from pkrobin:

Is it possible you don't have a steep enough angle on the game?

bubble is just above lower line (closest to player) on level, Easy enough to crawl under it and adjust rear feet up. Ill try it.

#8249 4 years ago

I caught it, I drained and it didn't recognize, opened coin door to find 1 ball in feed position other 3 about 1/4" gap from 1st. got new balls ordered, and tomorrow ill swap 4 from my iron maiden.

#8254 4 years ago
Quoted from Nokoro:

Just buy carbon steel balls. Ballbaron, for one, sells them. They won’t magnetize in Star Trek.

yes thats what I ordered

Update I dug through my spare parts kit found some carbon balls from titan.

Game is perfect now during multiball I can knock ball off magnet and both roll out instead of sticking up there.

#8260 3 years ago

Finally finished installing MezelMods Target Splints. Great Product had to modify the far left target backer other wise they went in super smooth. Well worth the time if you have leaning targets. I used the small size on the 5 red targets next to ramps/orbits.

Quoted from Lounge:

Mine was doing this also. I went into the settings and disabled the magnet then made the locks all virtual, also in settings. Not the best solution but it works.

Update, the new carbon balls have solved the magnet and trough issues. 50 or so plays zero issues.

Quoted from Pin_Guy:

This is a great product but wouldn't it be better if products were engineered to perform as intended to start with? Somewhere along the line Cost became the #1 engineering priority when it is supposed to be function.
Don't make me shake my cane and tell you to get off my lawn!

100% agree these should not be necessary when a game has 250 plays on it or 2500

titan has a nice chart. also I think a game room supplier in Michigan sells whole kits by the machine

Quoted from luckycreature:

Ordered this beach towel to use as a cover . It works.

I love it so simple but works perfectly
