Just joined with an immaculate Pro. Love how quick the game is.

Anyone with a shaker in a Stern Star Trek Pro? Trying to figure out whether I should put one in my pro, or into my Metallica Pro, or is it not worth it for either?

#7884 4 years ago

Opinion? When I got my ST Pro it came with both the original and an alternate translite. Would it be weird to get one of those backlit translite frames for the original translite and hang in my cave alongside the actual pin? Or is that too much?

Yours looks good, partially because it is quite far away from the machine. As another said, depends upon your space.

Quoted from heni1977:

I did and it is signed by Steve. So you could also do that.[quoted image]

I have done that for my spotlights/other lights in both ST and Metallica and has worked great. Keeps them snug and lit. Used to have issues with vibrations loosening them, with the spotlights sometimes falling out. Highly recommend.

Quoted from Zitt:

It's also been suggested somewhere this thread to wrap the wedge base with electrical tape to make the fit more "Snug"

Nice, I didn't know there was a 3d printing thread. Will be checking it out.

Quoted from Darscot:

I did this DIY speaker light mod, I posted in the 3D Printing thread but figured people might like it here.

I actually have more luck plunging the ball, instead of using the action button. I find the auto plunger doesn't always bounce back all the way , instead dropping into the pops. Hard shot, but fun when you make it.

Quoted from D-Gottlieb:

There is another skill shot. Hold the right flipper and launch the ball with the button. The right gate will stay open and the ball will come back down to the right. Hit the upper right flipper for the warp ramp. Big payoff.

How far back was that? I checked by your username, but didn't see the instructions.

Quoted from Darscot:

Mine did not feed properly, I posted in this thread on how to adjust it. Took me probably an hour to sort out. It's just regular tweeking any pin needs.

Needed something on the shelf behind ST. I am such a nerd...

LO, I have had that debate with my family. I hear "Kai". They think I am making it up.

Quoted from ectobar:

Have to say, I'm a little disappointed in all you new ST owners. I feel like we're way overdue for a "Do you hear Kahn or Kai?" debate.
