Have any of you had power problems by virtue of adding a shaker motor to your STTNG? A lot of concerns have voiced about overloading the power supply on that machine, but it also seems like a pin that would benefit more than most from the addition of a shaker.

I have had a shaker for about 6 months now in mine. I think it's well tied into the gameplay and I really enjoy it. But I've also talked with some people that don't like it. I also picked up all the Hallmark ornaments off ebay for $19.99 this week and they just came in the mail today. I can't wait to get them added but have a few other projects going on right now so it will have to wait.

I added the external sub and it was noticeably better with just the sub. Too much bass was overpowering so I had to adjust till I found the sweat spot that really added to the game play experience. Also, I can hook 2 machines up to one sub and also test it on other machines to see if they sound better with an external sub.

I think Christmas is about to come early this year for my STTNG. I've already got the topper, subwoofer, colorLCD, shaker motor, green borg ship, hallmark ships. I guess the only thing I'm missing is LEDs....

I didn't even know you could change the dots on the colorDMD. I ordered the STTNG colorDMD the minute they went on sale back in early Feb. I love it. Only problem is that it is a distraction at first and I've learned to watch the animations when other people are playing and not when I'm playing. My biggest reason for upgrading to LEDs would probably be b/c it is sitting next to my XMENLE and as you can see from the pictures the STTNG looks pretty dull compared to the XMEN.

Does anyone have mirror blades in there STTNG that they could post a picture of? I was considering adding some and possibly even going with the black mirror blades.

This was the pin I had to have. I've thought about getting rid of it a few times since it's the pin I've had the longest but instead I just keep upgrading it and modding it instead. Only had a picture part way through my last shop job...

When I took the ship apart a couple months ago to add the vengeance light mod I don't think it's the solenoid spring responsible for bringing the ship back to the home position. It's the 2 springs, one on each side that that stretch out and pull it back to home once that small solenoid with the magnet engages. Cleaning the track it slides in might be all you need to do to get it to work again. Could just be getting dirty so doesn't slide as easily as it used too.
