These and it is one of the best looking LEs Stern has ever made. The art is excellent. I decided to go huo LE over a huo Pre or nib Vault , because I love the way it looks. No regrets, it's fantastic! I'd be happy with the Vault Pre as well, and considered doing a laser mod on the Pro.

Got the vengeance mod and color dmd, fantastic! I knew color dmd was good on this game, but wasn’t prepared for this level of great. These mods are expensive but worth it!

Connected a 12V flasher behind the explosion plastic to the Vengeance flasher and l’m liking how it turned out!

That’s nice too—was trying to figure out how to keep the plastic art the same and not compete with Beatmaster’s beautiful LED ring on Vengrance. May tone it down some more or swap for blue.

Zitt has a nice mod for it with LED circuit boards. The USS Kelvin from Hallmark is really high quality as well!

Yes, I’ve got them coming! I have a very low play STLE and considered putting a playfield protector on as well but decided not to, but I will install Cliffy’s for sure. Ramp protectors are already on.

Does the blackout mod get rid of the ramp shot GI dimming during Klingon Multiball?

Did my own USS Kelvin lighting after the little circuit board in the Kelvin failed. Complete with a pico spot on “USS Kelvin” and a slow color changing led in the rear engine combined with blue for a little dynamic range. On to KBOP!

Great idea! Mine became overly complicated after the circuit board went out in the Kelvin. I'd like to experiment with the Hallmark Enterprise as well. Ideally, I'd like the ship to light up in Nero mode, but I can't find a way to do that right now.

Enterprise mod, kept the original in place and decided to give a front view top left of the Hallmark version. Put a pico blue above the USS Enterprise, might switch to a nano white. Love this game!

You do have to pop the ship apart on the USS Kelvin and Enterprise mods. There is some soldering on small circuit boards. It was worth $30 or so on the Kelvin and $50 on the Enterprise to me rather than pay $185 to someone else. But if you hate doing models and soldering a bit, it’s probably not worth it. The only way around opening up the Enterprise would be to wire the battery compartment +/- leads to DC and keep the switch somehow always pressed down on top, which I thought about doing but decided it wouldn't be reliable. My mounts on both of the ships are temporary, so I'll clean them up. The asteroid flashers add a cool effect to the little ships as well. Warp LEDs light up in series.

Red looks great on Pre, blue on LE.

I reseated my trough opto connectors and it has been fine since.

Those are awesome, but it depends on the space.

Do you guys know where to find an upper left (backbox) decal? I managed to scrape it and would like to find a replacement. For STLE...maybe I’ll call Stern to see if they have any left.

Do any of you guys know the powdercoat color for STLE? I’m trying to match custom hinges and am attempting to get close with Prismatic brand.

Do any of you guys know where I can track down a decal that was scraped on my STLE? Backbox left side, not a big deal but I'd like to get it fixed.
