FYI, Cliffy Stern ST ramp protectors are in the works.
More elegant than the ones out there now (look better / full replacement, not just slide behind existing ones) , and will include the warp ramp
Hopefully for sale soon

The Freddy Protectors I ordered before I found out Cliffy was going to make some arrived...but apparently they only make 1 delivery attempt for your signature, so now it's at the post office, and I lost the the piece of paper that was left for pickup LOL!
I'll check in with Cliffy and see how things are going. But last I heard he was still waiting for access to a warp ramp so he can design the 3rd ramp protector. I looked at my warp ramp and it looks a little risky for me to remove mine as I am a bit of a kludge
FYI...I got the current set of cliffys and the ring that goes around the playfiled / Vengance magnet is carbon fiber!
Quoted from Chosen_S:Maybe the post office will accept your driver license as a good form of ID to give your package to you?
I found it under my pillow...pinball fairy?
I'm wondering if we should have Star Trek clubs for each versions made over time.
It's getting to be a lot to wade through just for the the one (s) you might own
I got the pinbits saucer kit that came i think with some nacelle plastics for the enterprise
Where can i get nacelle plastic enhancements for the vengance?
Thanks!

Got a couple mods from Zitt
Great stuff and great shpping costs and prices
Highly recommended for mods
2 things...
1. Where is the laser test in the menus?
2. My ST has very low plays. My left flipper recently gets stuck in the up position sometimes. I've checked the end of stroke switch. It "seems" to react sometimes to a ball being kicked out or power being turned off. But is rather random. The last time was in multiball. When it got stuck I powered off so I could look under the playfield... but when I did so the flipper dropped.
Thanks! BobC
Quoted from mavantix:Stuck flipper: When you turned the game off, did the flipper stay stuck? If so, it's a mechanical issue, something is binding.
Zitt's popcaps on STTNG: I don't think it would work, screw holes would be in the wrong position? I can take I look, I have them on my ST Pro...
The flipper did not stay stuck when the power went off.
The sucky thing is my SS is doing the same thing. I just ordered a rebuild kit for SS. Maybe I need something for ST...the post office is going to get rich off me this month will all my piece meal orders
: (
My guess is the popcaps will fit STTNG, but won't all be upright? I thought I saw somebody had done that once?
Anti rattle tape is as more elegant solution. I'd be afraid electrical tape or duct tape would eventually leave as gooey or dried glue residue
Quoted from skywalker:Hey all, just picked up a ST prem & now noticed all the mission & weapons arrow lamps are not working, yesterday the arrows were flashing different colours at the time & came good & now all dead, any ideas hopefully a common issue, I checked & swapped the cables to the boards & they are ok, the mission board red led is flashing fast like the others, did a search & nothing came up, TIA
weapons lights try reseating all the connectors. just fixed mine that way
Quoted from BobC:Ok...my ST Premium is going on location, I'm going through my box-o-stuff and I find a knocker kit...but no instructions
Anybody got some install info?
Thanks!
BobC
Yeah...I searched my email and I must have gotten info from this url but it's no good anymore http://www.home.earthlink.net/~pinball_stuff/knocker.htm : (
Thanks! The Earthlink link has no pictures for some reason FYI but red shift does; although I think my kit only has the step up board and not the other 2 (which I think are just for tapping 50 volts?).
Thank you for the info. You always come through on Star trek pins Mr. Zitt, you are the best-est!
I'm sure I know what to do now!
