Call Stern or Cointaker before you do anything else with that shaker motor. One of them will be able to tell you whether to ignore that seemingly extra board or not.

I need to add some accent color to my game.
Let's see some pics of playfield lighting.

Last time I bought something from them and it was a small item the shipping was a shocker.

I think the dimensions of the enterprise are way out. The engines are ridiculously large and the saucer too small.

Quoted from Turboderf:This is the little board in question and im told it gos on this board but pins don't line up

I got one of those little boards to with my Stern shaker for TWD but I'm told it's an adapter for older stern games so I chucked it out

...for that price; I'd expect it to be film accurate.
Just don't go after your neighbor with one*...
Help me out guys
My photon torpedoes leds have started to glitch and show random / multiple colors at the same time. Hopefully it's just a connection thing.
Any ideas?

I kinda threw up when I hit checkout. After tax it cost as much as my first EM.

I think I do remember people posting about this and it was the cat6 cable connection? Email [email protected] or your distributor, they'll send you a new connection. Maybe someone else can chime in that's experienced this?
Quoted from golfingdad1:Thanks eskaybee,
Any one else have this issue?
I've had it off and on. I just unplug the smallest electrical connector (not rj45) and then plug it back in. That seems to fix it for a while. Ill replace the connector eventually.

Can someone post a photo of the connection location next time your in that area?

Any more info on how it helps the switch matrix? I don't have that and don't recall even getting another board when I got my shaker.
Heads up on ramp protectors...get them.
I lost a big chunk of the beta ramp entrance and found it when it got stuck in the VUK.
I've got the ramp protectors on order as we speak.
Quoted from woody76:Who has ramp protectors? Mantis?
Just ordered a set myself
ebay.com link: 2 ramp protector sets for Stern Star Trek pinball alpha beta ramp
Freddy's ramp Protectors from Germany is where i got mine , very nice.
Does somebody have that link?
Quoted from Captain_Kirk:My stock Stern shaker contains no such board.
Who made this one?
It's a stern shaker, he got it from Curly at LSOG.
Quoted from 0geist0:It's a stern shaker, he got it from Curly at LSOG.
It's not a current SAM shaker they make. So weird!

That's where mine are coming from. Ebay search brings them right up.
The bat'leth came today. But, it is slightly to large to be mounted in the location I intended in the arcade. It is pretty cool, however the aluminum is rather rough. I think in the show/film it was polished. The thing I dont like about it is you can see where it was sanded and where the sander was lifted/moved. Glad i went with Amazon, i should be able to return it without issue.
Is this the Roddenberry collectors item; or a knockoff?
NM - that's some bullsh1t for a collectors item.
Before you send it back; trace the item on some sheets of paper.
Then you can scan it into your computer; scale it to the size you want it. Then have someone waterjet your perfect size.

I already returned it... This is Authentic Roddenberry Collector Edition, it is engraved on the other side. Damnit what a smart idea, I should have traced it. It is a low grade aluminum, VERY light. And it was just belt sanded. It looks better in the photo than in person. and the stand, the speckle type shit is kinda ugly. After tax it was $330 so probably a good thing I returned it.

I started a thread about this idea a long time ago. Cant find the URL. I planned on having solenoids on each end hooked up to the flippers. I returned this one as it would hit the ceiling. It is rather big! But, I changed my mind and wanted it above the walk way as you enter the 2nd room in the arcade. But it wont fit. I also put it on top of TNG and it dug into the drywall. lol
I'm in the club !!!!! Just got my premium, I swear I could just sit there for an hour watching the attract mode. My son and daughter were completely mesmerized.

Yeah, they know!
Made another gameplay video of my Star Trek Pro. Not too high of scoring game but 21 medals was pretty good for me. Used three cameras this time and put it all together using Adobe Premiere. Quite the learning curve to that software but I think it's a solid first effort.

Great game ... thanks for posting
Quoted from dug:Great game ... thanks for posting
Quoted from BigBadJester:Nice game!
Thanks guys. This was actually the first game I recorded with the three cameras going. The first two balls were so bad I thought it would be a throw away but the game really took off on ball three. If I had managed to get that Vengeance EB I might of had a good chance of getting to Enterprise Amok. I've been close a few times but it still eludes me.
