Ya'll may be wondering what happened with this... We the short answer is that I found out my Stoopid bank (Chase) no longer accepts loose quarters and requires ME to wrap them before they will take it.... not a job I was looking forward to.
I combined the STB Charity arcade proceeds with a employee fundraiser we held at work during the month of October where I brought three pinball machines and a Pacman/Galaga machine to work collecting quarters.
I just found out that work was double matching any donations I made during the week of Human Rights Day... The wife and I began wrapping quarters and I made the deposit this afternoon.
Total amount collected was $457... which will be double matched by Intel ($920) bringing the total to Dell Children’s Medical Center to $1380. It was a lot of work to move these machines to these two locations; but this double match by Intel made it very worthwhile.
Thanks go out to team at Alamo Drafthouse S.Lamar and my local coworkers for making this a great event!
