On playet 1,2 and 3 and the credit screen you can see numbers to the left that shouldn't be lit up IMG20200114190926 (resized).jpg player 4 score works good so i swapped player 1 out and put the player 4 digtal score in and it was faulty so its not the digtal score boards.

Looks like a common connector problem...probably need to re-pin the score display connectors on the left side of the MPU board.

Yes, first pay attention to the display blanking signal (orange wire), comes from the MPU board J1 pin 10 and goes to all displays on pin 10 of the display connector. A problem with it can cause ghosting like you're seeing.

Also check that the start button switch contacts aren't shorting to the metal door which can cause display issues.

With Classic Bally/Stern games it's best to unplug ALL the displays and then try each one individually at the Player 1 position. This is typically where the wire harness daisy chain for the displays starts (so J1 on the MPU to the Player 1 display, then from Player 1 to another position). By just testing one display at a time you can know for sure if it's an issue with the signals coming from the MPU or the display(s).

    I second this.

Ran into this before and it turned out to be one of the displays itself causing issues with the others.

Isolate the problematic display and work from there.

The problem is at J1 connector i just moved the connector around a bit and the problem went away so looks like i will be repining pin 10 on the connector thanks to all.
