I am new to LED's. I am well satisfied with the old school 47's in my ST25 with the exception of the 2x-10x bonus at the flippers (green inserts with cross-hatching underneath) and the blue ice planet inserts (smooth blue) and the green unlimited millions in the middle (smooth green). I will appreciate any advise, especially from someone who has LED'd their ST25. Thanks!

Hey thanks, Aaron. I just ordered an assortment of 50 from Marco and I will experiment. They offer high output but I don't know what that means. I understand 3x but they don't use that nomenclature so I will just experiment. I just want a "little" brighter--probably not "alot" brighter. Thanks again!

Quoted from southbound:

Here are some (slightly) better pics of mine. For the backbox I used mostly cool white frosted with warm whites along the bottom, then added a few greens and blues behind the ships, a red behind Scotty and a yellow for his transporter panel (all frosted because I was getting 'spotlights' piercing through the translite). For added effect, I threw in some matching colored incandescent flashers behind the ships and a red incandescent flasher for the console alert beacon.

Thanks south, BR and everyone else who took the time to help me! I have a lot of decisions to make! Your's, south really rocks and BR's Enterprise mod is cool too, except that while you were at it, why did'nt you add a can holder? That beer sittin' there makes me feel like a long-tailed cat in a room full o' rockin' chairs!

Quoted from Goonie:

Yeah, I haven't had any ghosting on Star Trek. Or the Hook for that matter. Interesting.

Haaaa-I just now noticed that! Must have a fast camera! (or the wrong ROM?)
