I am trying to restore a Data EastStar Trek 25th Anniversary that was in a fire and am wondering if anyone could help me with a few pictures?

I am looking for the following pictures of that machine:

VUK and Subway plastic, I need a few angles as mine is missing and I need to home brew the subway plastic

Moving target, mine is also missing and I have the motor but no armature

Back glass animation, I have most of the parts minus the motor and the wheel that nudges the plastic slide pieces

Back box with boards, I am trying to rebuild the back box so this would help as well

Playfield pictures, I have disassembled the playfield to dishwasher all of the parts, I took pictures but would like another reference set from a compete machine as mine had been repaired a few times previously, I specifically want to make sure I am using the correct posts and bolts where needed.

wad,

It so happens that I am in the middle of a complete PF tear-down of my ST25th, so I should be able to get you most of what you need. I'll get something put together for you tonight.

Apollo_13 thank you so much, is there any way you can take a picture of the other side of the moving target motor assembly? I need to see the arm and linkage. Also the subway plastic, how tall are the standoffs right at the VUK? it looks like there is a pretty steep angle that rolls the ball to the VUK kicker? Can you take a picture as flat to the back of the playfield so I can see the angles?

On that note, has anyone had good success with Lexan bending or acrylic bending? I heard Lexan has moisture in it and it bubbles. ANy advice?

I don't mean to be negative, but since I've had experience with smoke-damaged games, I wanted to share my experience.

There are things soot won't come off of. PCBs absorb the soot, and no amount of cleaning removes it. The smell is VERY difficult to get rid of, if it's even possible. Wood is pourous, and it absorbs it. Some things, like the interior of the cabinet, can be repainted, but the non-painted wood surfaces will smell like smoke pretty badly.

You've got a lot of work ahead of you, and the results may not be what you expect.

Good luck, and thanks for trying to save one

Apollo_13 those pictures are very helpful, thank you!

As for the level of expectations: this pin was a throw in with a Secret service that needed minor work. So all in all it was pretty much free, I probably will put a few hundred back into it and place it near the fireplace........ so the smell wont matter much
