Quoted from Time:Love it!
Are you worried about the pop for a sling being an issue draining balls? R&M has a ball save feature just for this issue. Have you play tested it much?
Yeah I've tested it. Star pool is too easy, and much slower of a game. Since it's an EM I wanted to make it much harder to collect all the balls(now clues) I high tapped it too. And might try a powerball. Which will also show up better under the UV light.
You need to do it all in one ball or you fail unmasking captain Cutler.
Pool balls needed for final wiz mode lights and sounds 2,4,6,8,10,12,15
10 spins of center spinner normally spot a ball.
So now 20,40,60,80,100,120,150 spins with light the center inserts
Spelling C.U.T.L.E.R. and 150 or 15 ball will be the unmasked insert and spinner color change. As I have moved all the wiring around.
There is a rollover on the skill shot, coming out of the upper orbit if you're lucky that instantly spot balls. Also 2 advance spinner targets that awards 5 spins.
All the drops knocked down double bonus and spins. But they instantly come up after you knock them all down. The 2 upper drops block needed shots. The Gate collects bonus and lets you shoot for top vuk skill shot. And a chance at the instant spot ball target
Pool ball 2,4,5,7,8,10,13,14 are going to UV light up different areas of the playfield. Kind of like power down mode on JM in reverse. As you light up Cutler on the playfield you get more clues(balls collected)
All 15 balls collected is going to play chase music and center spinner turns red.
I don't think Im going to add much speech. Just background music and chase music. And definately keep the chimes. It fits the era and the theme.
I'm on the fence if I'm going to model 3d plastics. Like sunken ships and caves. Or just standard flat plastics.
Daphne and Velma are going on the head sides. And the cabinet is going to be painted or decals like the mystery machine.
So it's still a ways to go. But airbrushing the playfield is probably going to take the longest.
