Quoted from PACMAN:And finally... PAINT!! Well, the base color anyway.

You are looking good.
What is the color/shade of the blue paint you are using on your SG?
Thanks!
Killer Shark was working but there was a brake that wasn't working. The piece is unobtanium so i had to make it in 3D then print it out of the hardest plastic available because the prototype i made in PETG melted after a few seconds.
Quoted from abc12346038:The repainted cabinet looks terrific! I love me some SG and I used to maintain he SG owners list 10-15 years ago. I will be following this thread closely.
On a semi-related note, what’s the status of your Killer Shark restoration? I’m super anxious to see that thing in its final state!
Thanks!!!

Thanks for the update on the Killer Shark! I would love to see that thing up close. And the Star Gazer is coming along nicely! You’re supremely talented!
Quoted from PACMAN:Finally matched the hammered silver look. Parts are for Star Gazer and Sea Witch. Hopefully get a playfield for Sea Witch soon.

The hammer looks good. What did you use?

Looks quite nice! How does it work out when you paint something with hinges? Do you have to move the hinges part way through the drying process or what?
LEDs look nice but are flickering pretty bad. Going to try one of these Early SS Bally/Stern LED Adapters

IMG_6493 (resized).jpgLooking good! Marco Specialties will be stocked with new playfields & glass this winter. My fault for not being able to keep their stock up last year. 16 more Star Gazer playfields this month, & the start of Seawitch playfields.
Quoted from PACMAN:EVERY color seems to be off. Red, blue, yellow, tan etc.
One must take into consideration that the old playfield has oxidized clear coat.
Etc, etc, etc.
No paint/inks today will match the old school formulas of yesteryear.
