So we acquired our first pinball machine. Star action also refered to in back glass as triple action. the good..it works..the bad..having extensive experience as a steel mill electrician with process control using many of the components in this machine I'm looking to make it perfect.

I cannot locate schematics for the unit..any help? also sourcing parts..solenoid plungers and coils..rubbers, bumpers flipper rubbers and plastic.

I have all the tools and knowledge of the electrical end just need schematics and a little theory of operation. also is there a switch or jumper to do a lamp test? much easier to tell whats burned out like this. need info on waxing/cleaning playfield.
So far we vacced the playfield and cleaned the outside of glass and replaced power cord and added switch to turn on and off.

I brand new to this site and pinball machines. so please take it easy on me..lol

later down the road I want to reinstall coin mechanism, non existent now Just the door and coin slots are left.

Congrats on your 1st EM machine. I am not familiar with the title however the below info will assist you. Although not ' Star Action' schematics, you can download a copy of the schematics for 'Triple Action' at the IPDB at the below link which I believe will be similar >

Most parts can be sourced from PBR, they may also have the schematics you require >

You should find a master on/off switch located on the base of the cabinet just inside the front door to your right. Unfortunately you will need to manually test each lamp circuit and lamp. (There is no switch or jumper to test all lamps)

The below link will give you valuable info on the theory of operation >
