Haven't used one, but looks like the handles are way too far down. You'd need to bend your back an aweful lot and lift the entire weight. I don't really see how it would work better than a traditional appliance dolly, plus it looks like the load could get out of hand easily. I'd either find some more buddies or invest in a escalera or similar stair dolly.
