I just got a new ST Preimum and it looks like the boot EPROM chip is labeled V1.0 and dated 8/2013. Since this game is new, should it be the latest V3.1 EPROM shown here http://www.sternpinball.com/GAME_bootFLASH.html ? Am I mixing something up?

When I go into boot loader mode it does say V1.0 though.
Reason I'm looking into it was that I was testing dumping audits to USB and I was having a really difficult time finding one that worked. The only one was an older 128MB USB that would work.
Why wold Stern give a new game old boot loader code?
