Hi
2 questions;

1) I’m restoring a SS and I need to figure out where to solder back these 3 wires + 1 « resistor? » leg on the part where the powercord goes.

2) the previous owner cut 4 wires from the transformer to the box with the power button. Why? Game is working without problem. Should I do something?

Thanks in advance
Lou

Was it a re-import maybe? That's what my FT looked like when I got it

Definitely a re-import, just look at the label showing 230V service and FRANCE.

FYI: re-importing a pin (amongst other things) required swapping the input voltage on WMS/Bally pins of that era via different molex plug configurations depending on the voltage levels available. If I remember correctly these are documented in the manual. While what you have may be "working", having that many unterminated wires in the cabinet should be checked and corrected, as you never know what a previous owner may have hacked up and/or caused an unsafe condition.

Looks like someone just hacked up the transformer wires, rather than looking up how to rejumper the jumper plug

"I know what goes where, and why" said by Gene Wilder to Jill Clayburgh in the movie Silver Streak.
