Bally, 1982Working on this vector. The S+T boots up fine, but the background noises, SFX and Voices are all very faint, but there. Tried this in another machine, with the same result. Replaced a few caps so far and still the same result. Volume Pots seem okay, they crackle a bit, but it hums Much louded when you turn up the volume pots on the card itself.
Any ideas which Cap or what else may be the cause here?
Will do - just ordered a cap kit from GPE! How did you find the bad cap, they have to be tested under load correct?
