When you launch a ball it should say "Vector" after hitting the rollover.

It really doesn’t matter which version of the S &T you use as long as you have good vector roms installed. What do you get when you press the self test button on the board?

One thing to check is if you have roms populated in U2, U3 U4 and U5. I think vector might have been the only game with all four rom locations being used.

You mentioned earlier that when you launch a ball activating the switch in the shooter lane the callout is “period completed” instead of “vector”. In switch test when you manually activate that switch does it give the correct switch number?

search you tube for Bally vector sound and you will find a couple videos of the S&T self test to compare yours to.
